Washington, D.C. – Earthjustice Action issued the following statement after reports indicating the Senate will vote to confirm Todd Blanche as the next U.S. Attorney General.
Statement from Sam Sankar, Senior Vice President, Earthjustice Action:
“If Todd Blanche is confirmed, he will do Trump’s bidding no matter how illegal or immoral that may be. He should never have been allowed to set foot in the Department of Justice, let alone lead it. Under him, DOJ would focus even more on Trump’s personal vendettas instead of protecting people, combating pollution, and securing environmental justice.”
