Tracking Trump's Judicial Nominees

The federal judicial system is composed of 870 judges serving across the 94 district courts, 13 courts of appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court — and all of them have lifetime appointments. These judges and justices have tremendous power and influence over our daily lives, weighing in on legal matters from initial trials to final judgements and covering a wide range of issues in doing so.

All judges are nominated by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate, and in May of 2025, President Trump nominated his first slate of judges for his second term. In a time of increasing attacks on our environment, democracy, and rule of law, federal judges are key to upholding our civil rights and bedrock environmental protections.

That’s why we need you to hold your senators accountable as they consider Trump’s nominees — send them a letter today encouraging them only to vote for qualified, impartial candidates. You can also find phone scripts below to call your senators and call out some of the specific nominees we’re opposing.
