Defending and Strengthening Environmental Laws

Everyone has a right to a healthy environment. Our partners at Earthjustice continue to be a leading voice in using environmental law to protect people and planet; their legal victories have been critical in safeguarding the environment and ensuring people have a safe and healthy place to live. However, the environmental laws we rely on to protect our planet and communities, such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Environmental Policy Act, face unprecedented threats.

That’s where we come in. Our founding mission, since 2017, has been to defend and strengthen these bedrock environmental laws, ensuring they remain intact and enforceable, regardless of who holds political power in the White House or Congress. We connect key constituents and people most affected by environmental harm with their elected leaders, and our team is constantly on the ground meeting with officials to ensure they’re doing their jobs to protect our communities. Through grassroots advocacy, lobbying, and constituent education, we expand Earthjustice’s political power and bring the strength of our partnerships to defending the environment and public health. Together, we can make it so the laws that protect us remain strong and effective for future generations.
