Don’t let senators get away with voting yes on Trump’s budget bill!

What's At Stake

Fifty Senate Republicans voted yes on Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” the federal budget bill that’s widely considered the most anti-environment legislation in American history. It will eviscerate crucial environmental protections, increase fossil fuel leasing and timber sales on our public lands, and nearly eliminate clean energy incentives despite increasing energy demand and rising utility costs. Every senator who voted yes on the big, bad budget bill must be held accountable for their actions.

If your senator(s) voted in favor of this bill, they voted to support:

-Mandating offshore oil-and-gas drilling in ecologically sensitive places like the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska’s Arctic
-Leasing additional hundreds of thousands of acres for oil, gas, and coal development, as well as clearcut logging, on public lands
-Cutting widely popular, job-creating clean energy tax credits, environmental justice funding, and grants that allow coastal communities to build resilience against natural disasters
-Thwarting the development of wind and solar investments across the country, impacting electricity bills and manufacturing and decreasing capacity for clean, renewable energy
-More than 20 anti-clean water provisions, rolling back crucial protections that have kept polluters from exploiting our water for years
-Extending and expanding the Trump tax cuts for the wealthy, which will lead to more tax credits for the top .1 percent and fewer for the average income earner
-Defunding critical clean air protections that would ensure children can breathe well and live healthy lives

Don’t let them get away with selling out constituents to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Don’t let them get away with destroying our public lands to line the pockets of polluters. Don’t let them get away with voting for this bill.

If your senator(s) voted for this bill, call them today and let them know that you will not forget it—that you will continue fighting to hold them accountable.
