What's At Stake
Trump has nominated his former personal lawyer, Emil Bove, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, just one step below the U.S. Supreme Court. Republican senators recently voted Bove’s nomination through its last procedural hurdle, meaning a final vote could be coming any day now. We need your help to ensure he isn’t confirmed. Call your senators today and tell them to vote no on Bove.
Bove has demonstrated time and time again that he is unfit to serve as a federal judge, including by:
–Serving as President Trump’s personal attorney, creating a clear conflict of interest and undermining his potential impartiality as a judge.
–Leading the purge of Justice Department and FBI employees involved in prosecuting those who participated in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S Capitol.
–Intervening to dismiss corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, all without reading the actual evidence.
–Encouraging Justice Department employees, per a whistleblower complaint, to ignore court orders that didn’t include his “preferred outcome.”
We believe that all judges confirmed to the federal bench should be qualified, fair-minded, and able to make decisions based on facts, not politics. Bove is none of those things.
