America, Let’s Vote!

Our courts serve as a last defense against well-funded corporate polluters. This November, our courts are on the ballot.

What does that mean?

In this election, you get to vote for U.S. Senators who confirm the President’s nominees to the federal bench, which includes nearly 900 lifetime federal judgeships. YOU can have a say in who will shape the future of our federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.

In dozens of states, you can also vote directly for state supreme court justices who hear important state-level cases that impact everything from public health and the environment to voting and civil rights.

Why does an environmental organization care about judges and courts?

Because courts matter.

Just as they are critical to protecting our rights, judges also have the power to protect our environment and public health and to hold corporate polluters accountable whenever they try to put their profits over our communities.

When polluters recklessly contaminate our water and air, we can’t let them off the hook.

What can you do?

You can protect our health, communities, and clean air and water at the ballot box on Election Day, November 5.

Check your voter registration so that you can shape the future of our local and federal courts, and make sure to complete your ballot in full.
